Designing your adventure to the Isle Royal National Park!

Begin by selecting your original departure from Grand Portage on the mainland and your desired drop off point somewhere on the north shore between Windigo, the 1st stop on the island, and the lodge at Rock Harbor, the final stop for the day.

You will be spending at least one night on the island either camping at your selected location or staying at the lodge in Rock Harbor.

Then from Rock Harbor, or other spots that you would have hiked to along the south shore, select your return back to the mainland at Grand Portage.

You can select interim pick-ups and departures as well, from and to any of the stops along our route, to allow you to design the hiking and camping adventure suited to your desires.

Arrangements can also be made to have food and supplies delivered to you while hiking on the island.

Outbound Departures (North Shore)
Grand Portage (7:30am) - Windigo (10:00am) - McCargo Cove (1:00pm) - Belle Isle (1:30pm) - Rock Harbor (3:00pm)

Outbount Departures (Windigo only)
Windigo (8:30am)

Inbound Returns (South Shore)
Rock Harbor (8:00am) - Daisey Farm (8:30am) - Chippewa Harbor (9:00am) - Malone Bay (10:00am) - Windigo (1:00pm) - Grand Portage (3:00pm)

Inbound Returns (Windigo only)
Windigo (2:00pm)

Supplies - North Shore
Windigo (9:30am) - McCargo Cove (1:00pm) - Belle Isle (1:30pm) - Rock Harbor (3:00pm)

You must arrange to have all packages delivered to our main office in Grand Portage AT LEAST ONE DAY PRIOR to the your expected delivery date on the island.

Supplies - South Shore
Rock Harbor (8:00am) - Daisey Farm (8:30am) - Chippewa Harbor (9:00am) - Malone Bay (10:00am) - Windigo (1:00pm)

You must arrange to have all packages delivered to our main office in Grand Portage AT LEAST TWO DAYS PRIOR to the your expected delivery date on the island.

Cancellation Policy

All reservations cancelled at least two full weeks prior to the scheduled trip date are subject to a 15% fee, 85% of fare will be refunded.

If a reservation is cancelled within two weeks of scheduled trip date, there is NO REFUND.

You MUST call us to cancel a reservation prior to the trip date or no refund will be made.

If WE cancel a trip due to weather or any other conditions, you will receive a full refund of all fares, however, you must be present to receive the refund, if you are not present you will be deemed a "No Show" and forfeit your refund.

Note: All reservations require a full fare remittance at the time of the reservation. A reservation is not confirmed until payment is received. Payment can be made by cash in-person or by Visa, Mastercard, ( we DO NOT accept checks).
